The Orla Livre project reclaims a legacy that was inherited.
The masterplan engages a varied range of project guidelines: Ecology, Interconnectivity between Species, Soil Improvement and Preservation, Water Improvement and Preservation, Increase in Biodiversity, Landscaping, Visual Communication, Urban Mobility, Social Integration, and the Financial Management of the Master Plan. It is with this holistic approach that we intend to contribute to a democratic Orla Livre, taking back the legacy of what we have inherited.
The cultivation of an ecological network for people, animals, and plants as well as the creation of transportation infrastructure within the ring of the Orla creates a new mobility between all the components of this system, allowing for new egalitarian access to the lakeside.
Furthermore, the Masterplan strives to both preserve and improve the ecological conditions of the Orla, increasing soil quality, providing new space for the conservation and regeneration of the cerrado fauna and flora, as well as creating new areas for better development of the lake.
